NB: Due the worsening ill-health of Steve Moss, we are now, in general, unable to take on new customers.
This webpage is designed to provide a straightforward means for existing customers to receive remote support when arranged with Steve.

We offer remote support whereby we connect to your computer across the internet using a secure, encrypted connection that enables us to view your computer’s screen remotely, and control your computer using (our) computer’s mouse and keyboard, pretty much like being directly in front of it.
This way, we can often respond quicker to your needs and perform IT tasks more cheaply for you than if we book a personal visit to you. While there are some tasks that are not suited to remote support (such as hardware-related work, wireless surveys or some network reconfiguration tasks), the majority of IT support tasks can be effectively undertaken remotely, including those that require software installation and/or rebooting of your computer.
While we do have ‘unattended’ remote access for some of our clients, we can offer ad hoc remote support for all our business and residential clients. We use a sophisticated and secure remote support system based on SetMe’s remote access software, and we can connect to a range of computers and laptops running Microsoft Windows or Apple MacOS. Please note that at this time we cannot remotely connect to Android or Apple iOS devices.
The remote access software is active on your computer for the duration of the support session only, and does not require you to open access to us through your firewall, for instance, or perform any other complex configuration of your computer. Once we agree with you to conduct a remote support session, we will ask you to navigate to this page in your web browser and follow the insructions below.
Important: do not follow these instructions unless you are totally sure you speaking with one of our IT engineers. Giving an unknown or untrusted person remote access to your computer is dangerous.
Once it is time to start your support session, please click the button below to begin. It will take you to our remote sofware partner, SetMe:
On the page that opens you will be asked to download the SetMe Client. Once the download has finished (it wont take long, typically only a few seconds), open the download file to start the installation of the software.
You will most likely be presented with a security prompt which you will need to assent to. Don’t worry, we will be on hand via telephone to assist you.
Once the process is complete you will be presented with a unique numeric code which you will need to read out to our engineer to join the remote session. Our engineer will then confirm to you that the remote session is up and running.
